Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I find out if my books are worth anything or how much I can get for them?
A: Best way to find out would be to either call, text, or send us a FB Message with the photos of your books and we can give you an estimate of what to expect.
Q: I want to sell my books but can't come during business hours, what do I do?
A: Please contact us ahead of time so we can arrange a convenient time to bring your books in, whether it be before or after business hours or on weekends. We will make every effort to set up a mutually convenient buyback appointment if you cannot come during business hours.
Q: I have books that I've used several semesters or few years ago, are they still sellable?
A: It will depend on each individual book, so best would be to call and ask or send us photos via text or Facebook message. Generally speaking, the more recent the book, the more you can expect to receive for it and higher the likelihood that we can still buy it. However, we often do buy textbooks even if they are NOT the most recent edition.
Q: I live on campus, is there anyway someone from your store can meet me on campus to buy books?
A: Yes, we will make every effort to have someone meet you on campus if you cannot come to the store. Please be sure to contact us ahead of time to make arrangements.
Q: How do you determine how much books are worth in buyback?
A: Each individual book is different. Obviously, more recent textbooks are valued higher than older ones. Various factors that impact the value of a textbook are: the edition, its physical condition, quantities on hand, and its forecasted usage in upcoming semester(s).
Q: I don't live anywhere near the store, but I heard you buy textbooks, how can sell them to you?
A: We can still buy your books. You can send them to us with free shipping and we will issue you a quick payment once they arrive. Please click on "Special Buybacks" tab and look under Virtual Buybacks.
Q: I have a lot of books, is there a limit on how many books I can sell?
A: No, bring them all in.
Q: Can I donate any books that you can't buy?
A: Yes!
